Abstract :

This communication addresses the question of “Muslim Anti-Semitism” in an original perspective, studying its North African dimensions and from the crossed viewpoints of transnational, New Imperial, and social history. It presents my research project, which aims to produce an analysis of trans-Imperial circulations deeply rooted in local contexts, in order to grasp the way in which anti-Jewish discourses could be read and translated, appropriated or rejected, and could have an impact on individual and collective behaviours.
